In the midst of the current pandemic, we have all become more aware of our limits, our vulnerability and also our social responsibility. We are witnessing extreme outbursts of intolerance to otherness, racism, discrimination and violence. Situations like these compel us to reflect on what we might have thought of as highly unlikely to happen, and to stand united against it. The IPA reaffirms our emphatic condemnation of all forms of discrimination, racism and violence.
The IPA is a membership organisation – we exist because of our members, and for their benefit - and to ensure the continued vigour and development of the science of psychoanalysis.
