IPA VIDEO AWARD 2015 

The winning film was announced at the Business Meeting at the IPA Boston Congress in July. The filmmaker is Gonzalo Arenas Norton and the video is entitled: Psychoanalysis: A Door To Hope. The 2016 Video Award round will be launched in Spring next year.

THE PROCESS
The IPA Video Jury  shortlisted 5 videos from the hundreds of entries that were sent through . The Jury was  interested in collecting videos created by people outside psychoanalysis and non- professionals. The Award was aimed at young people, and the Jury expected to receive fresh and original visual feedback in the way in which the topic of psychoanalysis is perceived and represented among the younger generation. The 5 videos were put to a public vote - open to members and non-members. Only one vote was allowed per person and it was required to watch all 5 videos. Over 2000 people voted online.
 
Besides matching our terms and conditions, the criteria for judging was:

1) Accuracy
2) Originality
3) Clarity
4) Extent to which it effectively demonstrates the chosen focus in a memorable way.
