Results of the elections for President-elect and vice president-elect, treasurer, and the Representatives of all three regions for the term 2015 – 2017

 

The Ballot papers for the 2015 Elections were dispatched to all IPA Members on 4 March 2015. The deadline for receipt of ballot papers or to vote on line for this election was midnight GMT+1 on 31 May 2015. The results below were communicated to all candidates on 4 June.

The Rules and limits for the European and Latin American regions state:

  1. no more than one Representative may be elected from one IPA Constituent Organisation;
  2. b.no more than 2 Representatives may be elected from one country.

 

In the European and Latin American regions, subject to these limits, those candidates who receive the most votes will be elected.

Please note that although Drew Tillotson received higher votes than Lewis Kirshner, the two positions allowed from the Independent Societies in the USA have been taken by Beth Kalish and Arlene Richards, who received more votes. Therefore, Drew Tillotson could not be elected.


The Rules and limits for the North American region state:

12. In the North America region and for the United States of America only:

 

  1. No more than 5 Representatives may be elected from the Regional Association (APsaA); with no more than one Representative from each Affiliate Society of APsaA, and
  2. No more than 2 Representatives may be elected from the Independent Societies; with no more than one Representative from each Independent Society, but
  3. No more than 6 Representatives may be elected from the United States of America in total.

 

13. In the North America region, apart from the United States of America:

 

  1. a.No more than one Representative may be elected from one IPA Constituent Organisation and
  2. b.No more than 2 Representatives may be elected from one country.

 

In the North American region, apart from the United States of America, subject to these limits, those candidates who receive the most votes will be elected.

 

Voting papers will be stored for six months before being securely destroyed. Electronic data will be stored for twelve months before being securely destroyed.
