Welcome to the IPA's webinar: 'Psychoanalysis and Law: A Necessary Partnership'. This webinar will feature Plinio Montagna, Ronald Doctor and Bob Pyles discussing the intersection of psychoanalysis and law, and their work in this important area. For many, it is hard to imagine a more alien environment for psychoanalysis than the courtroom. Psychoanalysis depends on the neutrality of the consulting room, the quiet contemplation and careful attentiveness of the therapist to the patient. However, through this webinar, our panellists will try to explain why a psychoanalyst would involve themselves in such matters, and what they can contribute.

For those who can't attend our live session, we'll provide a recording.
