2017 ELECTION: Candidate Position Statements
When voting first began on 1 March 2017, the email routing server used by Electoral Reform Services (ERS) was incorrectly flagged as potentially dangerous by Google. This meant that some IPA members using Chrome or Firefox web-browsers received a malware/spam warning message when attempting to link to the voting site. Voters using other web-browsers would not have experienced this problem.
This issue was looked into as a matter of urgency by ERS and the problem was resolved by early evening on 1 March 2017. ERS has contacted any voter who notified them of the issue and will continue to monitor the situation.
All voters may use the link in the email received on 1 March to safely access the secure voting site. If you experience further difficulties, please contact Customerservices@electoralreform.co.uk.

At the end of February 2017, all IPA Members ‘in good standing’ on or before 31 January 2017 will be invited to vote on the candidates listed on the slates. Voting will close at midnight BST (UTC+1) on Wednesday 31 May 2017. The results will be communicated to all IPA Societies in early June 2017 and will be formally announced by the President at the time of the Business Meeting at the Buenos Aires Congress.
