The objectives of the Monterrey Psychoanalytic Association, a Component Society of the International Psychoanaltical Association (IPA), are:
a) promote and facilitate the study, development and scientific research of psychoanalysis;
b) train specialists in psychoanalysis;
c) provide assistance to the community in the area of mental health;
d) perform all activities that relate directly and indirectly with the above.
