  • Richard M. Gottlieb (1944 - 2017): Director of Faculty at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute, Training and Supervising Analyst at the Berkshire Psychoanalytic Institute and Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, passed away on 31 January 2017.   • Mrs Sharon Riva Raeburn (25th January 1947 – 22nd January 2017): Sharon Raeburn was a founding member of the British Psychoanalytic Association and its first President.  She was also a Training Analyst and Supervisor of the Association. Read more.
  • Paul Ornstein (4 April 1924 – 19 January 2017). Graduate of the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis, Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry and Psychoanalysis at the University of Cincinnati Medical School, Supervising Analyst at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute and prominent leading figure in psychoanalytic self-psychology.   • Henning Paikin (11 September 1935 – 2 January 2017). Distinguished member and one of the most influential founders of the Danish Psychoanalytical Society, and member of the IPA House of Delegates from 1999 to 2004, Henning Paikin passed away on 2 January 2017 at the age of 81.
