Nina Asanova (19/12/1947 –  28/11/2019)

It’s a sorrowful and sad event, Nina passed away suddenly and unexpectedly.
Nina was one of the oldest members of our psychoanalytical society and one of the founders of the psychoanalysis revival movement in Russia. She worked as Dean of the Faculty of Psychoanalysis and Professor of the Clinical Psychoanalysis Department of the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis. Neville Symington (1937-2019)
 Australian and international psychoanalysis mourns the passing of one of the most distinguished practitioners and publicists in their discipline. He was Fellow of the British Psychoanalytic Society, Member of the Australian Psychoanalytical Society, Honorary Member of the Israeli Psychoanalytical Society and Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Neville had continued to teach and write until his death in Sydney from a short illness at the age of 82. Read full obituary by Dr James Telfer



Annie Anzieu 1924-2019
Annie Anzieu passed away on November 10th. Born in France in April 1924, Annie Anzieu graduated in philosophy and psychology in Paris at the end of 2nd World War .  In 1947 she married  Didier Anzieu. Both became psychoanalysts later on. Didier famously elaborated his work on Freud's self-analysis in the fifties and on the Skin Ego on the eighties. They lived in Paris, had two children, Christine and Pascal. Their daughter Christine Anzieu-Premmereur became also a psychoanalyst. In 1958,  Annie Anzieu was child speech therapist at the Salpêtrière hospital in Paris, where Professor Daniel Widlöcher founded with her the Department of Child Psychotherapy. She led for many years the department. She devoted her time to teach many child psychotherapists.

Athina Alexandri
 
It is with deep sorrow that the Hellenic Psycho-Analytical Society and its members announce the death of Athina Alexandri deceased on the 28th of August 2019. Athina Alexandri was a founding member of the Hellenic Psycho-Analytical Society.
