IPSO Online Psychoanalytic Case Writing Seminar
Confirmed
IPSO Invitation – Online Psychoanalytic Case Writing Seminar: Meeting the Challenge of Analytic Case Writing
With Dr Stephen
Bernstein
This summer, let’s immerse ourselves in this rich writing seminar, a rare opportunity to learn from Dr. Bernstein alongside peers from all over the world. In this seminar, Dr. Bernstein will lead us in exploring the structure and style of analytic case writing. Our focus will be on transforming clinical processes into vivid, reflective, and analytically meaningful narratives. Participants will learn the “Experiencing–Reflecting–Transition” framework, which offers a comprehensive structure for developing a complete case report. Additionally, we will cover a style guide for effectively conveying transference, emotional experiences, and the unfolding analytic process.
Time: Option I: Saturday, June 13, 2026, 10:30 AM EDT. (2 hours)
Option II: Saturday, June 20, 2026, 7:00 PM EDT. (2 hours)
Location: Online Seminar. No recording will be available.
(Zoom Link will be sent out after registration)
