The Lebanese Association for Development of Psychoanalysis (ALDEP) is affiliated to the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA) and the European Psychoanalytical Federation (EPF) as a Study Group since January 2010.
Founded by five psychoanalysts, we are officially recognised by the IPA since 2009.
Our purpose is to transmit and develop psychoanalysis as a scientific discipline and as a specific therapeutic method and research consistent with the work of Freud and his successors. Our main objectives are to disseminate psychoanalysis by organizing seminars, workshops Studies, seminars and conferences, and encourage exchange with colleagues from various directions by strengthening relationships with psychoanalytic societies in Lebanon and abroad.
