Psychoanalytical Education Committee (PEC) listserv
PEC’s listserv is a new internet-discussion group for all directors of training of IPA societies. This “listserv” covers the whole range of training for all four pillars across all IPA training models. For every round of discussions, two PEC members are responsible as active moderators. At the end of each listserv discussion, the two PEC moderators create a document, along with a graphic table including all answers from the societies. With the different rounds of discussion about supervision, theoretical training, personal analysis and society commitments, the impact of COVID-19 on psychoanalytic training, we have collected (and continue to) a huge amount of information allowing us to create a meaningful database. With this information we plan to develop guidelines for all societies for self-study and self-reflection regarding their training and potential points of discussion for interregional meetings.
